Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Bariloche, I had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary offerings at El Faro Restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting, with sweeping views that complemented the beautifully crafted dishes. I opted for the breakfast buffet, which presented a diverse selection including continental and American options. The fresh pastries reminded me of the vibrant local flavors I often seek during my travels as a wildlife conservationist. Room service was prompt, further enhancing my experience during a restful evening in my comfortable room. I appreciated the 24-hour front desk, which ensured assistance was always available, complementing the convenience of free Wi-Fi that kept me connected to both work and my loved ones back in Nairobi. One standout moment was savoring a perfectly cooked Argentine steak, a nod to the region's rich culinary traditions. The blend of flavors and the artful presentation of the dishes resonated with my passion for authenticity, much like the ecosystems I work to preserve in East Africa. My visit to this hotel not only satisfied my culinary cravings but also inspired me to explore more of what Bariloche offers.
